COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
The Course is designed by the IITs in consultation with ECC This scholarship is given to meritorious aspirants who are interested in obtaining an M.Tech degree in Construction Technology & Management from either IIT Madras or IIT Delhi Duration: For 24-month On successful completion of the M.Tech: The selected candidates are absorbed in regular employment in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Scheme Qualifications: First-class graduates with the following consistent academic record: - 10th Standard: Minimum 60% or CGPA of 6.50 on a scale of 10 - 12th Standard: Minimum 60% or CGPA of 6.50 on a scale of 10 - 10 in Civil /Mechanical/Electrical Engineering who will pass out in 2015 from a recognized Indian University / Institute
CAREER PROSPECTS
Scholarship: For the 24-month course, L&T will pay candidates a stipend of Rs.9000/- per month as well as sponsorship and tuition fee to IITs/NITs (Please note, more IITs/NITs may join the scheme) Employment: Those who successfully complete the course will be considered for employment in permanent cadre in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company Total emoluments on absorption at current rates exceed Rs.5 lakhs per annum on cost-to-company basic The company offers excellent career prospectus Undertaking: Before the course, candidates elected will have to execute an undertaking for a value of Rs.3 lakhs to compare the course and subsequently, if selected for employment, to serve the Company for five more years How to Apply Eligible Candidates may apply online in the application format for the Building India Scholarship on the "Careers" page of our website www.Lntecc.com, giving accurate and complete details Please Note: To be eligible, you would be required to furnish GATE-2015 Score Online immediately within 7-days after the deceleration of GATE results
